JACQUELINE MINA OBE
Jacqueline Mina is regarded as one of the foremost goldsmith artists in the UK today. In 2000, she was awarded the prestigious 15K Jerwood Applied Arts Prize for Jewellery, recognised for her "consistent innovation and significant contribution to contemporary jewellery...for pushing the boundaries of precious metal techniques."
Recently, she was honoured with an OBE for her exceptional services to the arts.
Jacqueline Mina’s work is held in prestigious public collections, including the V&A Museum, the Crafts Council, the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths in London, the National Museums of Scotland, the Cleveland Collection at the Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art, and the Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York.
She is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, a Trustee of Bishopsland Educational Trust, and a founding member of the Association for Contemporary Jewellery.
Jacqueline has held solo exhibitions at the V&A Museum, Lesley Craze Gallery, and the Scottish Gallery. She is regularly invited to participate in major international events like Schmuck in Munich, the V&A and Saatchi Gallery in London.
